Join us to be part of liberating work
Our worker's co-op aims to ensure that:
-
everyone has access to rewarding, meaningful and sustainable work.
-
worker's aren't exploited.
-
people have real control over their working lives.
-
psychological services are a part of democratic community development.
-
the surplus that is made by Learning & Wellbeing Psychology serves both the worker and their community.
Creating & maintaining sustainable jobs
Psychologists can only contribute to their commnuntities when they have a model of service delivery that looks to the future- so they can take their part as stewards of the business and keep it thriving for the next generation of co-operators.
Organising Democratically
Psychologists do their best work when they are able to contribute to the decisions that affect their working lives. We are exploring approaches and systems that enables members of the co-op to have a voice in the direction the company they work for takes.
Working for Respect & Equality
We believe that psychologists have responsibility for promoting psychological safety and inclusion for others, but that they can only do this when they experience being able to turn up as their whole selves in a service where their contribution is recognised and valued.
Join us to make a community impact.
1
Join us in developing & delivering interventions
Educational and Child Psychologists are trained to value action research and interventions that respond to the way children, schools & families see their problems. We seek opportunities to develop solutions with communities to the difficulties they feel they experience.
2
Join us for high-quality CPD
Whatever your qualification when you join us, we believe that this is the beginning of a life-long journey into learning to be with people as they navigate the barriers in their way. We use our surplus to create communities of practice that sustain, challenge and develop psychologists.
3
Join us as we work towards training the future workforce
Teams learn from sharing their expertise and from the insight and knowledge of the people who want to take the profession forward. At Learning and Wellbeing Psychology we have the ambition of growing to the point where we can host Trainee Educational Psychologist placements.
